Aniol Serrasolses does a macho move into the right side of Phils hole and wins the most controlled surf of the night.
Here is a recap of Adam Scott and his gang hosting the Forster Rodeo at Phils Hole.
It has been a while since there was a beat down at Phils Hole on the Ottawa River. This year we hosted the Forster Rodeo at Phils Hole. We saw lots of kayaks, air mattresses, raft parts, kids blow up pools and blow up dolphins, sharks you name it. As the name states, the objective is to get either a controlled or uncontrolled beat down or surf in Phils hole and for the most part, the winners were pretty obvious. We awarded Cooper Lemkay the best beat down award. Aniol Serrasolses took first place for the most controlled surf which I didn’t witness but the crowd was pretty impressed at the end of the day with the show he put on. Last of all we had a category for most creative and Katie Kowalski and Katrina Van Wijk won that for their interesting stunt going through Phils in a kiddie pool blowing kisses to the crowd holding roses. The dynamic duo attempt was pretty amazing which you can see in the video. All and all it was a great day on the Ottawa and we are back next year to do it all again. Special thanks to Kokatat (site link), Snap Dragon (site link), Shred Ready (site link) and Airborn Athletics (site link) for sponsoring the event. Looking forward to next years event.
