Recently Jason Craig, one of the best up and coming kayakers as well as a great person had a very unfortunate accident. Below is the contact information on Jason’s recovery fund:
Hello,I am one of the people contacting Jason’s sponsors to ask for donations for his recover fund.
If you do not know, Jason was severely injured two Sundays ago on Deer Creek in Calif. He has gone through a successful 6 hour operation to re-attach his legs to his sacrum sorting out nerves, etc in the process. He has been moved to the Shriners hospital in Sacramento (UCD) where he will spend some time in rehab and then faces a long term process to get back to walk and kayak again. A fund has been set up to help with his long term rehab and extra medical expense involved in this type of catastrophic accident.

I know you realize the value of having people like Jason represent your gear so if you could find it in your heart to donate whatever you feel appropriate to his recovery (gear, cash, good healing thoughts) there will be an auction at the Reno Whitewater Festival this year.
