The Australian National Championships were held at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium last weekend and what a weekend it was. It was run in conjunction with the Penrith Whitewater Stadiums 10th anniversary celebrations which included free recreational paddling, jumping castle, demonstrations by the State Emergency Service, National Talent Scouting by the Australian Institute of Sport for Slalom Kayaking, free kayak instruction all day plus a whole lot more. Even the local radio station came down to broadcast, lot of action for sure.
