Clendenning River, BC

From Christie Glissmeyer: On Friday I am headed to British Columbia for a self-support trip on the Clendenning River.  I will fly into Clendenning Lake on a float plane with 6 other paddlers and all of our gear.  The plane drops us off and we paddle out of the lake and down the Clendenning River (Class IV, V) to the confluence of the Elaho River near Whistler.

How ’bout a lift

The story: we were kayaking out to Sand Island in the Apostles, I found this poor little guy inside a sea cave. I figured he must have fallen of the ledge above. With a water temp in the low 50’s I don’t think he was there by choice. I grabbed him (no struggle at all) and rode to shore with me, where he was released back into the woods. Tim
